About the Author
Ellie Byrd started her career as a concert pianist and as many musicians do, she loved dabbling with computers. To pay the bills, she began teaching computer classes and writing curriculum. Not only did it pay the bills, it became the foundation for Ellie’s first company, a software training company she started and ran for 25 years.
Although Ellie never took a business class in college, her company soon soared over $1M in revenues—and then she hit a plateau. Feeling ill prepared to grow the business further, Ellie was elated to hear about a group called Young Entrepreneurs’ Organization (YEO). She quickly became a member and joined a Forum. Her business got “un-stuck” and the rest is history!
Ellie has founded 3 successful companies. She spends the majority of her time traveling the world and working with Forums in organizations like EO, YPO/WPO, BBL and Vistage.
In her spare time, Ellie enjoys playing the piano at conferences, churches and eldercare facilities, blending her music with a message of joyful perseverance.
